As name indicates this therapy intend to modify client’s behaviour through cognitive thinking (challenging one’s negative thoughts, beliefs and attitudes). Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is scientific, one of the most popular and successful psychotherapy extensively used to treat most disorders and emotional issues. Using CBT client is encouraged to think differently, rationally and then act on that learning or new perspective. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is "problem-focused" and "action-oriented".
